Web Application Tester

Talent Quanta is seeking a WebApplication Tester fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Luxembourg. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Key responsabilities

• Definition of tests scenarios and test cases for functional, UI, regression, performance, security tests and volume test;
• Test management plan;
• Preparation of a test evaluation summary: test coverage and test results for each test case;
• Setup of the test environment;
• Perform analysis of the test environment;
• Perform all the technical activities needed to setup the required test environment, as specified in the Test Management Plan;
• Prototyping, creation of test programmes and elaboration of scripts, scenarios, test cases;
• Automation and execution of the test management plan and additional testing.

Required skills and competence

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 13 years;
• At least 3 year of experience working with XML/JSON for structured information exchange;
• At least 3 years of experience working with test automation technologies, tools and techniques solutions and defect tracking tools;
• At least 3 years of experience in the creation of test automation solutions;
• At least 3 years of experience in working with Web Service technologies;
• At least 2 years of experience as API and Web testing;
• Very good knowledge of Atlassian product family such as JIRA (for tracking & support), Confluence (for collaboration), Bitbucket & Bamboo (for deployment);
• Very good knowledge of Web Application servers: WebLogic, Tomcat, IIS;
• Very good knowledge of Database system Oracle RDBMS and database programming language PL/SQL;
• Good knowledge of data representing languages such as XML / JSON and web services for data / information exchange between applications based on SOAP / REST;
• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operation systems;
• Good knowledge of test automation tools: SOAPUI, POSTMAN;
• Excellent command of the English language.
