Talent Quanta is seeking a User Documentation & Training Expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated into the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Key responsabilities

  • Discuss with stakeholders what they want to do and what can be achieved;
  • Producing/maintaining training material (wiki pages, collaborative site pages, etc.);
  • Writing IS on-line help;
  • Configuring and testing the system for the training scenarios to be used;
  • Organising training/coaching sessions and give training / coaching (users and support services);
  • Provide guidance using social networks and support users in the review process of the documentation;
  • Ensure proper follow-up via IMT;
  • QA review of training material to ensure the defined standards and procedures are been followed;
  • Prepare storyboards;
  • Creation of videos in order to explain the use of software to users;
  • Review of training material, specifically videos with audio recordings;
  • Design graphics that can be updated and reused when needed;
  • Production of audio scripts.

Required Skills

  • University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years;
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in online education or training, preferably designing and implementing professional education products;
  • Excellent experience with coaching;
  • Experience with instructional design theories, methodologies and best practices, including interactive online teaching methods;
  • Very good knowledge of building training material;
  • Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Knowledge of documentation governance (style guides, templates, permissions etc.);
  • Knowledge of ICT infrastructure technologies, especially MS Outlook, MS Teams, MS Word,  Firefox or Chrome or Edge, Windows 10;
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g Confluence, xWikis) will be considered an asset;
  • Experience with using or modifying scripts/macros in documentation or wiki platforms will be considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of JVM-based languages (Groovy or similar scripting language), as well as knowledge of Javascript, HTML, CSS, Ajax and SQL will be considered an asset;
  • Excellent command of the English language..
