Java API Developer

We’re looking for a highly experienced Java Engineer to build vendor-agnostic, cloud-portable applications and secure, scalable backend services. You’ll work with Spring Boot, REST APIs, Docker, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps tools to deliver robust, compliant, and high-performance solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Develop portable, vendor-neutral backend applications in Java
• Build and integrate Spring Boot services and REST APIs
• Secure applications using HashiCorp Vault and industry security standards
• Configure and migrate databases using SQL, Liquibase, and related tools
• Containerize applications with Docker for cloud-agnostic deployments
• Work with Kafka (events, schemas), SaaS/CaaS hosting, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Implement monitoring with ELK, dashboards, and logging best practices
• Produce high-quality documentation, technical guides, and installation instructions
• Ensure compliance with licensing, standards, and agile delivery practices

What You Bring

• 15+ years in IT and 8+ years with Java (8–21)
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Maven, REST APIs, JSON/XML/HTML, SQL
• 5+ years in cloud environments, SaaS/CaaS hosting, ELK monitoring, Agile/Scrum, and Atlassian tools
• Hands-on CI/CD automation, Git workflows, backend testing (JUnit, Mockito, Postman, Testcontainers)
• Experience designing cloud-portable, vendor-neutral applications
• Kafka (events, schema registry, troubleshooting), Docker, and cloud-agnostic deployments
• Knowledge graphs, RDF, triple stores, GraphQL, WSO2 or similar gateway solutions
• Strong documentation skills and understanding of security standards (SSDF, NIST 800-53)
• Fluent in English; good command of French
