IT Systems Integration & Operations Consultant

Talentquanta is seeking an experienced IT Systems Integration & Operations Consultant to support enterprise-grade dissemination and publishing systems in Luxembourg. The consultant will be embedded within the development team and work closely with a major client’s IT organisation on site, providing both operational support and technical consultancy.

This role suits a hands-on consultant who enjoys system operations, incident management, and continuous improvement in complex IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultancy and operational support for IT systems
• Monitor and analyse system logs using tools such as CloudWatch and Dynatrace
• Manage incidents and problem resolution, including root-cause analysis
• Test new features and coordinate release validation via CI/CD pipelines
• Support cloud-hosted systems (preferably AWS) following change and release processes
• Write and run database and Linux/Unix scripts (shell, JSON, SQL)
• Provide second-level support and troubleshoot functional and technical issues
• Manage support tickets and collaborate with users and external providers
• Contribute to system improvements and maintain technical documentation
• Deliver system demos and training sessions to internal teams

Required Expertise

• 5+ years’ experience in IT systems integration, operations, or support
• Strong experience with application servers (Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly)
• Proven background in monitoring, incident, and problem management (ITIL)
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS) and CI/CD pipelines
• Solid knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, and API testing tools (Postman, curl)
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix, scripting, and basic database operations
• Familiarity with Dynatrace, CloudWatch, PIWIK, Power BI, Elasticsearch
• Experience working in structured or Agile project environments (Jira, Confluence)
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Excellent command of English
