IS Tester

Talent Quanta is seeking an IS Tester fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Key responsabilities

• Definition of test plans and test cases;
• Construction of test scenarios and scripts;
• Management and execution of regression tests;
• Test coordination;
• Reporting of test results;
• Creation of bug reports;
• Assistance in the technical documentation, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting;
• User guidance and support on the usage of the information systems, written or via training;
• Coordination of technical teams between partners;
• Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers;
• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users.

Required skills and competence

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years;
• Excellent experience of testing technologies, tools and techniques;
• Very good knowledge of graphic user interface test management tools;
• Excellent experience of API (REST/SOAP) test management tools;
• Very good knowledge of relational data modelling;
• Excellent knowledge of data preparation, with SQL and APIs;
• Very good knowledge of defect tracking tools;
• Very good knowledge of usability, security and data integrity concerns;
• Very good knowledge of Agile development;
• Knowledge of task automation scripts;
• Very good knowledge of administrative business processes in large organisations and across organisation/country boundaries;
• Excellent command of the English language.
