Interim Chief Technical Officer (CTO)

We are seeking an Interim CTO to guide this technical organisation through a critical transition period. This role focuses on ensuring operational stability, strengthening alignment between technology and product, and accelerating the execution of our SaaS platform strategy within the pharma sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and stabilize the technical organisation, driving efficiency, reliability, and engineering excellence
• Strengthen collaboration between IT, engineering, and product teams to accelerate delivery
• Oversee and refine the technical architecture supporting SaaS product development
• Provide senior technical leadership to the executive team and board during organisational change
• Ensure scalable, secure, and compliant SaaS solutions aligned with pharma/life sciences requirements
• Manage distributed international engineering teams across multiple time zones
• Travel as needed to support operations and strategic activities

Technical & Leadership Requirements

• Proven track record as a senior technical leader (CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Technology) in large-scale environments
• Deep experience in SaaS product engineering, cloud-native architectures, and secure platform operations
• Background in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated industries strongly preferred
• Strong ability to engage, influence, and align executive and technical stakeholders
• Experience leading global, distributed engineering teams
• EU-based with immediate availability
