Enterprise Architect

Talent Quanta is seeking an Enterprise Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her Remote services as an expert for a position based in Brussels, Belgium. Note that onsite presence in Brussels will be required at the first week of the mission and one week every 2 months of the duration of the mission. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural vision and elaboration;

• Development and enhancement of architecture;

• Assistance with the implementation of the architecture;

• Architecture maturity assessment;

• Analysis of organisational structures;

• Analysis of information systems portfolio;

• Analysis of enterprise business processes;

• Create business architecture models that reflect the organization’s strategies and goals;

• Integrate the project and program strategies and ensure alignment with business strategies and drivers, and management priorities;

• Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities;

• Conduct research to find ways to improve operations;

• Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance;

• Create and implement a business vision and multi-year plan.

Required Expertise

• Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 13 years of relevant working experience in IT;

• Minimum 2 years of experience in architecture and design of information systems;

• Minimum 2 years of experience in development of information systems;

• Minimum 2 years of experience with UML or CASE tools;

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Product Owner in an agile software development process;

• Experience with relational databases and web technologies;

• Experience with Agile software development (refactoring, test-driven development, user story modelling);

• Good knowledge of enterprise architecture and  business processes analysis;

• Knowledge of software maturity models;

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, COBIT, Interconnections, RAG, orchestrating flow and actual experience developing and building models based on such framework;

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture notations such as ArchiMate, BPMN;

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture tools;

• Prior experience in the banking sector, with emphasis on resolution activities will be considered an asset;

• Participation in developing crisis management application(s) will be considered an asset;

• Excellent command of the English language.
