Job description

As a Healthcare Business Analyst, you will play a key role at the intersection of healthcare operations and digital innovation. You will analyze business needs, translate them into functional specifications, and help design user-centric solutions that support the digital transformation of Luxembourg’s healthcare ecosystem.

Business Analysis & Functional Design

  • Gather, understand, and analyze business needs from healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders
  • Translate requirements into clear, structured, and actionable functional specifications
  • Write specifications, use cases, and functional documentation
  • Contribute to application design and ensure functional alignment throughout development

Collaboration & Project Coordination

  • Work closely with hospital teams, Luxith teams, developers, PMs, and the PMO to ensure solution consistency and feasibility
  • Support project coordination by tracking schedules, deliverables, and KPIs
  • Prepare steering committee materials and ensure transparent reporting to both technical and business stakeholders

Deployment & Change Management

  • Participate in solution deployment and provide functional support to users
  • Train end users and actively support change management initiatives
  • Maintain and enhance documentation and training materials

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to process optimization and support the digitalization of hospital services
  • Ensure compliance, quality assurance, and alignment with healthcare IT standards
  • Support ongoing enhancement of applications and internal methodologies

Your Profile

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (Bac +5)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in healthcare or within health information systems
  • Strong proficiency in French (excellent writing skills) and English; German and/or Luxembourgish is a plus

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of the hospital ecosystem (HIS, DPI, PACS/RIS, LIS, data archiving, medical documentation…)
  • Proficiency in process and data modeling tools (BPMN, UML) and data analysis methods
  • Good knowledge of software development and application integration principles
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
