Business Analyst

Talent Quanta is seeking a Business Analyst fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals;

• Conduct business model analysis;

• Analyze and document business processes;

• Model business processes for clarity and efficiency;

• Analyze functional requirements and support the development of business cases;

• Identify and assess risks associated with projects or processes;

• Assist in drafting Business Cases, Vision Documents, Project Charters, and Security Plans;

• Meet with policy officers, understand their needs, and evaluate how the unit can support them;

• Provide business knowledge to support user acceptance testing, system troubleshooting, or incident resolution.

Required Expertise

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;

• At least 7 years of specific expertise with business model analysis and modelling;

• At least 7 years of specific expertise with requirement elicitation;

• At least 7 years of specific expertise with BPMN and UML;

• At least 5 years of specific expertise with design of mockups and wireframes with tools like Balsamic;

• At least 5 years of specific expertise design of conceptual data model;

• At least 2 years of specific expertise with SQL statements writing;

• At least 2 years of specific expertise with manual testing;

• At least 2 years of specific expertise with Jira;

• At least 2 years of specific expertise with Atlassian Confluence, including Gliffy diagram;

• Good knowledge of Wiki and collaborative sites;

• Good knowledge of information systems matters;

• Good knowledge of large organisation administrative business processes;

• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile);

• The following certification would be considered an asset: Business Analyst – BABOK;

• Excellent command of the English language.
