BI Expert

Talent Quanta is seeking an experienced BI Expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who would work remotely within EU. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Statistical analysis, collect and pre-process datasets,build machine learning algorithms and predictive models;
• Creation and maintenance of Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW)and complex Business Intelligence Solutions (Data Lakes / Data Lakehouses);
• Designing architectures both on the cloud and on premises(whether hosting or cloud on-premises) or combination of both (hybrid);
• Gathering business requirements and Designing ETL processes;
• Data virtualization and modelling;
• Design and development of reporting applications;
• Development of front-end (UI / UX) applications;
• Write SAS code to run tests or to write specific usertransformations;
• Physical DB design and DB performance analysis;
• Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system;
• Review of the architecture of existing systems;
• Design and development of component architecture andbuilding blocks.

Required Expertise

• Master’s degree in IT, combined with 7 years of professionalexperience;
• Excellent knowledge of data warehouse design &architecture;
• Good knowledge of data lake/data lakehouse design andarchitecture;
• Excellent knowledge of relational database systems appliedto data warehouse;
• Knowledge of non-relational database technologies;
• Excellent knowledge of SQL, NoSQL;
• Excellent knowledge of business intelligence reportingtools;
• Excellent knowledge of ETL tools;
• Excellent knowledge of modelling tools;
• Excellent knowledge of online analytical data processing(OLAP) and data mining tools;
• Proven practical experienced in the following software ofthe SAS9 platform for at least 1 year is an asset: SAS Data Integrator Studio,SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Management Console, IBM Platform ProcessManagement,SAS programing language;
• Knowledge of near real time data warehousing and/or changedata capture technologies;
• Good knowledge of cloud-based business intelligence design;
• Working experience of Angular / D3 languages;
• Working experience of Python, Anaconda, Django;
• Experience with Database Mining systems and in Big Datatechnologies;
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence;
• Experience with Message Oriented Middleware/EnterpriseService Bus technologies;
• Experience with modern UI paradigms (client-side scripting);
• Excellent command of the English language; Knowledge ofFrench would be an asset.
